As a Business Development Executive you will play a pivotal role in expanding our government and commercial business. You will be responsible for:
- Proactively identifying federal contract opportunities aligned with our organization's capabilities.
- Scanning government procurement portals, attending industry events, and networking to stay informed.
- Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
- Collaborating with executive leadership to foster strategic partnerships.
- Developing and executing strategies to secure federal contracts.
- Participating in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations.
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, acquisition policies, and contract requirements.
- Conducting market research specific to federal agencies and their needs.
- Analyzing trends, budget allocations, and policy changes affecting federal procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Government Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, specifically within the federal sector.
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
