Overview:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue for our IT Staffing Solutions and Software Solutions business units through prospecting, acquisition, development, and expansion of client opportunities. On a daily basis, your goal will be to understand your audience's business problems and sell them on SOLTECH's capabilities to develop a custom solution that will meet their needs. As a founder-led company that does not seek external funding, we have the power to truly develop custom solutions. We pride ourselves on getting creative, remaining competitive, and following through on our commitment for superior delivery.

Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Executive, you will generate new leads through the following avenues:
o Leveraging your own network of professionals
o Utilizing social media, online tools, and internal systems to identify new prospects
o Reigniting relationships with past SOLTECH clients and prospects
Generate sales leads, contact potential clients, and nurture existing customer relationships
Document sales activity, develop and maintain opportunity pipelines, and nurture contact lists through Salesforce
Identify and qualify the key aspects of a potential lead, including need, budget, timeframe, and decision-maker
Work alongside Account Management and Solution Engineering to pass off new leads
Proofread contracts and work with prospects to negotiate contract terms and rate as needed
Develop a superior understanding of all SOLTECH offerings and remain up to speed on modern technology solutions
Demonstrate a consistent sense of urgency at all times and remain determined to meet company goals

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will be hungry, humble, and smart. You will have a strong understanding of custom software development, IT staffing solutions, and technology as a whole. You also will come equipped with the knowledge needed to sell solutions vs. products. You will be motivated by money and have the eagerness to drive sales across the finish line! Qualified candidates will also be able to recognize 'buying signs'. You will be highly skilled at reading your audience, and identifying when they are leaning in.
5+ years of hands-on experience selling to external clients in the technology industry
