Business Development Landman

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Business Development Landman. Reporting to the Business Development Technical Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

• Work within a multi-disciplinary BD team
• Evaluate the land portion of acquisitions, trades, farm-ins and other growth and divestiture opportunities
• Prepare and present to management land information and land upside during internal deal reviews
• Think creatively about how we can leverage PR's existing footprint to enhance the value of acquisition or trade targets
• Independently generate opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with the land department on grassroots opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field from an accredited University or College
• 3+ years of experience as a Landman or similar role
• Direct land experience in and knowledge of the Permian Basin (Texas and NM)
• Experience in M&As, trades and divestitures
• Demonstrated work experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and obtain results in a performance driven, team-oriented environment
• Self-starter/Self-motivator
