The Business Development Manager will spearhead business development initiatives for the firm's North America practices and lawyers, focusing on strategy, collaboration, and revenue growth. This role requires a team player with strong organizational, writing, and communication skills, capable of working independently with minimal oversight.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business development strategies for select practice groups and key clients, conducting research and analysis to inform these efforts, and assisting with pitch and RFP processes. The role also involves managing marketing activities such as seminars and conferences, driving strategic initiatives, and liaising with the Communications team to promote successes.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm, with strong attention to detail, proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office, and the ability to interact professionally with senior partners. They must be self-motivated, able to manage and prioritize tasks, and flexible enough to handle demands outside traditional business hours. The role requires someone who can support the firm's business development agenda and effectively communicate developments within the firm and market to relevant stakeholders.
