Job Overview:

Are you passionate about driving growth and shaping the future of retail marketing? We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in Canada and solidify our leadership in the retail and CPG sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Craft and execute a robust business development strategy to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage key decision-makers to secure new business opportunities.
  • Sales Performance: Meet sales targets through lead generation, presentations, and contract negotiations. Monitor performance to align with business objectives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing and technical teams to create compelling proposals and deliver exceptional solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and ensuring timely deal closures.
  • Networking: Perform cold calls, attend industry events, and build professional networks to connect with new prospects.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6-8 years in business development, particularly in retail marketing or related fields.
  • Retail Insight: Strong understanding of the retail landscape and connections with medium to large clients in industries like banking, insurance, and CPG.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to devise and implement effective growth strategies.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Negotiation Skills: Expertise in closing deals and understanding pricing strategies.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive and able to thrive independently or as part of a team.
