Client seeks a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team of motivated professionals working collaboratively towards shared goals.

Expand existing client key partnerships & develop new affiliations.
Collaborate closely with our in our target market segments.
Identify customer & market segment needs, building for short/medium/long-term.
Consistently follow-up on potential project opportunities.
Accelerate targeted business growth.
Responsibilities of this Role
Meet routinely with client leadership to review business development & hone strategy.
Cultivate long-term relationships by establishing a genuine rapport with partners.
Work jointly with the client Marketing Manager to leverage marketing and social-media strategies.
Gain knowledge of our primary design sectors of high-end residential, museums & recording/broadcast facilities.
Establish a market position in key market segments through multiple activities.
Research & analyse market trends & competitor approaches.
Oversee targeted marketing campaigns, track effectiveness & report to Principals.
Facilitate the creation & promotion of custom technical content & social media plans.
Oversee client attendance at marketing events, such as trade shows & conferences.
Attending meetings with potential clients & partners, delivering firm overview presentations.
Assist the client Consulting Team with RFP & RFQ responses for projects.
Maintain & share professional knowledge through education, networking & presentations.
Skills & Qualifications of this Role
Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of Business Development experience in a service-based firm. (In the Design / Build industry is a plus.)
Successful track record in strategic partnership development.
Excellent communication skills & customer-centric people skills.
Ability to take direction, manage & execute tasks with an elevated level of initiative.
Knowledge of client relationship management (CRM), ideally with HubSpot CRM.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Willingness and initiative to participate with professional organizations such as the American Institute of Architects or the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), as well as more industry-specific organizations. This includes attending and networking at key trade shows each year.
