Description:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and managing new business

opportunities .This role is integral to driving revenue growth by promoting Cryopak Industries' range of

temperature-controlled packaging solutions and services across key markets, including pharmaceutical

and food logistics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong "hunter" and entrepreneurial mentality,

relentless focus on new client acquisition, and the ability to nurture long-term partnerships.

1. New Business Development:

o Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities in target industries and markets.

o Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients through networking, research, and cold

outreach.

o Develop tailored proposals and solutions that address customer challenges and align with

Cryopak's product offerings.

2. Account Management:

o Manage acquired accounts

o Work with Operations to plan and ensure smooth onboarding and continuous customer

satisfaction

3. Strategic Sales Planning:

o Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute strategic sales plans that align with

company objectives.

o Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing strategies, and competitive

positioning.

o Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.

4. Market Expertise:

o Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.

o Understand the regulatory and logistical complexities of temperature-controlled packaging and

cold chain solutions.

Job Description

o Provide expertise on Cryopak's products and services to clients, demonstrating value and

competitive advantages.

5. Reporting & Forecasting:

o Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools (e.g.,

Salesforce).

o Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights.

Minimum Education

requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

preferred but not necessary.

Prior Employment Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, account

management, or sales in related industries (e.g., cold chain logistics,

packaging, or life sciences). A track record of successful business

development in related fields (packaging supplies into Pharmaceutical or

Laboratory companies, Pharmaceutical 3PL sales, Meal kit companies,

etc)

Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings,

industry events, and sales activities.
