Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the medical device sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and marketing within the medical device, aerospace & defense or electronics industries. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and leading strategic initiatives to expand our market presence.
The Opportunity:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships within the medical device industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
- Monitor and report on the performance of business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines.
What we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the medical device industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the medical device market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Due to ITAR requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders
