As a Business Development Representative, you will take charge of outbound sales, project estimating, and job site management. This role requires a proactive approach to client interactions and the ability to oversee projects from initial consultation to completion. You'll play a key role in building strong client relationships and bringing their landscaping visions to life.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $35,000 per year
  • Commission: 10-15% on various jobs
  • High performers can expect total compensation of $80,000 - $95,000 per year


Responsibilities
Proactively reach out to potential clients through outbound sales efforts, making 100-125 cold calls per week to generate new business opportunities.
Prepare estimates for commercial landscaping projects, managing 10-20 active opportunities at a time.
Conduct on-site visits to evaluate client needs and provide precise project estimates.
Oversee projects from the initial proposal through to successful completion.
Develop and nurture strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Work closely with the landscaping team to coordinate and execute projects efficiently.
Keep detailed records of sales activities, client communications, and project progress.

Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Prior sales experience preferred, particularly in the landscaping or construction industry, but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects Experience with project estimation and understanding project scopes is a plus.
