Job Summary:
The BI Architect III will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance. This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to gather data requirements, design robust data architectures, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The BI Architect III will be instrumental in developing a robust data architecture and contributing to the organization's move towards data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Modeling & Integrity:
Define data modeling standards and best practices to ensure data integrity and consistency across all BI systems. Monitor and enforce adherence to these standards.
Collaboration & Requirement Gathering:
Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
BI Architecture Design:
Design and develop enterprise-level BI architectures, including the creation and optimization of data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes to meet business needs.
Data Strategy:
Contribute to the design and development of the organization's data strategy, enabling efficient data integration, processing, and delivery across various systems.
Solution Delivery:
Oversee the implementation and delivery of BI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and meet the business requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive improvements in data architecture and BI systems to align with evolving business needs and data technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in defining data modeling standards, ensuring data integrity, and developing BI systems.
Collaboration:
3+ years of experience collaborating with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
BI Architecture Design:
5+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level BI architectures, including data warehouses, data marts, and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
7-10 years of experience in business intelligence and data warehousing with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
BI Tools Proficiency:
Experience with BI tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Advanced Data Architecture:
Experience in designing complex and scalable data architecture solutions for large-scale business environments.
Certifications (if any):
Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) - Preferred.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate - Preferred.
Tableau Desktop Specialist - Preferred.
Education: Bachelors Degree
