Summary:

The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team within the Business Strategy & Analytics department. In this role, you will maintain our data warehouse, build SQL queries, develop Power BI reports and Power Apps, and assist with ad-hoc analyses for various departments within Business Operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic field of sports analytics and make a tangible impact on our organization's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, and validation tasks to ensure data warehouse accuracy and integrity
  • Generate SQL queries to extract relevant information from the data warehouse
  • Perform data exploration and conduct statistical analyses to identify trends that improve revenue streams and optimize processes
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tracking various KPIs and performance metrics
  • Clearly articulate findings and present actionable business recommendations
  • Stay ahead of innovative trends in analytical and data visualization technologies and techniques
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business or quantitative field preferred (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, etc.)
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in business analytics
  • Sports or entertainment industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience in SQL, Microsoft Office applications, CRM (MS Dynamics), Archtics and Power BI
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed business style, with solid ability to prioritize
  • High-level of commitment to a quality work product
  • Ability to manage relationships with key constituents as appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business
