JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst with 3-5 years of experience, you will play a key role in analyzing data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes. Your expertise in data visualization, SQL, and Tableau will be crucial in developing and maintaining effective BI solutions. You will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance to identify business needs, enhance data processes, and drive continuous improvement.
This is a fully remote position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Visualization
-Create compelling and user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Data Analysis & Reporting
-Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
-Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau Desktop, SQL Server, Snowflake, Excel.
SQL & Data Management
-Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from SQL Server.
-Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Process Improvement
-Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data management and reporting efficiency.
-Utilize process mapping techniques to streamline workflows.
Data Architecture
-Assist in designing and maintaining data architecture to support BI initiatives.
-Ensure alignment with organizational data governance and quality standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
-Work closely with business units to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and deliver BI solutions that meet their objectives.
Documentation
-Create and maintain documentation for BI processes, reports, and data sources.
-Ensure comprehensive documentation of data architecture and business rules.
Troubleshooting & Support
-Provide technical support for BI tools and processes.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, reporting, and visualization.
KNOWLEDGE AND ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Technical Skills
-Expertise in Tableau Desktop for creating interactive dashboards and reports.
-Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server for data extraction and manipulation.
-Strong understanding of data architecture and data governance principles.
Process Improvement
-Experience with process improvement methodologies and process mapping techniques.
Analytical Skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Communication
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Familiarity working in an fully remote environment.
Attention to Detail
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role. Certified in Tableau (Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server) and proficient in SQL.
-Experience with other BI tools or data visualization platforms.
-Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced data analysis.
-Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices.
-Familiarity with end to end development process.
-Familiarity with direct response marketing metrics, direct mail marketing metrics, call center based operations and metrics, financial and accounting systems.
-Familiarity with the Debt Settlement industry.
