The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, deploying, all forms of reporting for internal customers. You will work collaboratively with the BI (Business Intelligence) Staff, other IT staff, and business stakeholders with the goal of delivering actionable data analytics. This position plays multiple roles including data architect, data modeler, SQL programmer, report writer, report designer, and project manager.

Design, build, and deploy business intelligence reports, self-service reports, and dashboards using a variety of front-end visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS and Crystal Reports Test and validate underlying report data; convey the key insights or "story" the data to reveal in a visual format that is grouped, summarized, or formatted to be easily consumed, understood, insightful and actionable Provide Direction and Guidance to other Business Intelligence Analysts. Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad-hoc analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions. Create ETLs or processes that pull data from multiple places and centralize it in one data source. Review and optimize existing queries written by other developers; perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and BI solutions. Participate in innovative technology evaluation and ensure alignment of business unit data and analytics practices with enterprise data processes and practices. Develop and maintain operating procedures and support documentation for all reporting infrastructure. Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts for all reports and their operation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in IT and Business Intelligence creating advanced reports using tools such as Tableau (or other BI tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tibco), SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, MS SQL Server preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience designing, writing, and maintaining Crystal Reports. Experience with the below items: Remediating end point virus related issues Remediating network/email virus issues Experience with end user Cyber Training The desire to continue to grow and develop Cyber skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in Business Intelligence development, planning, design, configuration, coding, and troubleshooting of BI tools preferred. Strong understanding of database systems and data warehouse architecture preferred. Familiar with any ERP database schemas and departmental processes preferred. Experience with Python or other scripting language is a plus.

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel
This job operates in a professional business office or home office where standard office equipment is routinely used, such as computers, photocopy machines, fax machines, telephones and filing cabinets. This position is largely a sedentary role. Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
This is a full-time position, on-site at Potter Headquarters. A hybrid work format will be an option after thorough understanding of the Potter Global Technologies global network. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. An occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate business needs.
