Summary

To serve the members of Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) by managing data governance and integrity across all business systems, and partners with internal stakeholders to bring balance workflows to business applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as Project Manager for BI projects and incoming requests - managing the assignment of work ensuring progress and updating the business owners and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Identify gaps in skills, tools and other capabilities for your team and make recommendations on how to address those things, including a plan for continuing education/training for the entire BI team.
  • Along with the BI analyst, collaborate frequently with the Database Administrators to ensure the correct build and availability of BI repositories.
  • Communicating regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to measure customer service performance goals
  • Provide advice to clients on how their new or changing business strategies will impact new business solutions or existing systems
  • Work with the various lines of business to gather data and reporting requirements
  • Assist business users to mine existing data and information sources
  • Evangelize existing solutions and data resources
  • Oversee all data exchanges with outsourcers and suppliers to ensure the appropriate data is extracted on a timely basis
  • Develop and enhance data governance models for our data and information
  • Lead and develop talent of a group of business analysts
  • Present complex or technical concepts and solutions to senior leaders and other business stakeholders
  • Present analysis and recommendations to business partners


Qualifications and Experience

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to present complex information in an understandable manner
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to think clearly, strategically and analytically

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Power BI (Intermediate)
  • SQL Server (Intermediate)

Additional Information

  • Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
  • Staff may be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.

    Pay Range: $87,900-$111,600 *Starting pay is based off of qualifications and experience
