Description:

Baker Hill, a renowned leader in providing cutting-edge financial technology solutions, is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Advisory Services - Business Process Architect. This multi-faceted role includes providing industry best practices, guidance and recommendations in client software implementations, sales support subject matter expertise, client configuration reviews and input to the Product Management team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Client Success and Satisfaction: Your primary focus will be to drive client success by defining their processes and goals and aligning them with the capabilities of Baker Hill NextGen. You will work closely with clients, understand their specific needs and goals, and provide strategic recommendations and guidance to optimize their use of Baker Hill solutions. Assess potential roadblocks to client readiness to alleviate project risk and identify alternative solutions.
  • Customer Usage & Configuration Reviews: Perform a virtual or on-site client engagement to access the client's current system configuration and usage. This can include discussing the client's business strategy related to the client's lending activities in NextGen, reviewing existing policy and processes (including current state and desired workflows), discussing known issues, concerns and/or modifications. Document and prioritize customer recommendations tied to financial benefit opportunity followed by a proposal for additional products or services. Client site travel up to 40%.
  • Thought Leadership: As a thought leader, you will actively contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge and best practices. This includes creating and delivering internal training on banking functions, latest industry trends, regulatory changes, working sessions for internal and external clients, presentations at Baker Hill Prosper and various industry conferences, submission of blogs for the Baker Hill website. Your thought leadership will position Baker Hill as a trusted advisor in the financial technology sector.
  • Sales Assistance: Plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales team by sharing industry and product knowledge with current and potential clients. Your deep understanding of the financial industry and expertise in advisory services will enable you to provide valuable insights, address client inquiries, and contribute to the sales process. Support in delivering customer value and business outcomes while growing the Baker Hill Advisory Services program.
  • System Knowledge: Need to be comfortable navigating systems to provide guidance and assistance with configurations and test case creation with clients.
  • Software Implementations: You will actively participate in software implementations, leveraging your industry expertise to provide valuable insights, best practice recommendations, strategic and tactical guidance, and configuration assistance. Your contributions will ensure successful implementations that meet client requirements and drive customer satisfaction. Working within the implementation team provides industry knowledge, system guidance and leadership to team members.
  • Formal Input to Product Management: Utilizing your real-world client usage insights, you will provide formal input to the Product Management team. By sharing your observations and feedback, you will help shape the future development of our NextGen products, ensuring they align with client needs and deliver exceptional value.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned: Work assignments may change based on changing industry requirements and evolving business processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent field or
  • Proven track record of at least 3+ years of financial institution experience in credit lending or equivalent.
  • Commercial, Small Business or Consumer Lending experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry, including banking, lending, and credit risk management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills
