Ergon Inc. seeks a full-time Business Process Excellence Lead to join our team. The Business Process Excellence Lead (BPE) plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of the Polaris business transformation program. Working directly under the Polaris Business Lead, this role provides hands-on leadership in coordinating business process activities, aligning cross-functional resources, and ensuring effective communication between business units, process owners, and project teams. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow into future leadership roles by gaining exposure to enterprise-level transformation efforts and developing deep expertise in business operations, project execution, and change management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Program & Project Support
    • Supports the Polaris Business Lead in managing end-to-end business process workstreams, helping to drive alignment between business needs and program activities.
    • Helps monitor and manage work plans, milestones, and deliverables for business-side activities across multiple projects.
    • Prepares meeting materials, tracks key action items, and ensures timely follow-up on decisions and issues.
    • Works closely with Business Process Leads (BPLs) to ensure coordination of work, documentation of requirements, and resolution of issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Build trusted relationships with process owners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business unit stakeholders.
    • Facilitate working sessions to gather input, document needs, and align decisions.
    • Acts as a liaison between functional teams and the Polaris Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure business perspectives are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Governance & Reporting
    • Supports documentation and tracking of key risks, decisions, and open issues, escalating as needed.
    • Helps ensure project activities follow the established Polaris governance and methodology.
    • Assists with creating reports and dashboards that reflect accurate, timely information from the business perspective.
  • Business Readiness & Change Support
    • Supports business readiness activities, including training coordination, communications, and testing preparation.
    • Partners with change management and training teams to prepare business users for upcoming changes.
    • Contributes to the evaluation of business process changes and user adoption.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Participates in post-testing and deployment reviews and helps capture lessons learned.
    • Identifies opportunities for improving business processes, documentation, and program delivery effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 4-8 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, or business analysis.
    • Experience in cross-functional teams, process improvement, or ERP/business transformation projects preferred.
    • Exposure to SAP or similar systems a plus.

Skills:
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-able to work across business units and technical teams.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and collaborative with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • High level of initiative and accountability; willing to take on stretch assignments.
  • Strong interest in leadership and business transformation.
