ABOUT THE POSITION
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) II serves as a strategic partner, aligning IT capabilities with the business goals of assigned departments. Reporting to senior executive management, the BRM III builds and nurtures relationships with stakeholders, ensuring IT initiatives support mission-critical objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing the implementation of technology solutions, and ensuring IT services are delivered in alignment with departmental priorities.

Operational management experience, with a focus on improving customer processes and experiences, is a must. This includes collaborating with customers to identify and address challenges, streamline workflows, and enhance service delivery. Additionally, candidates should have expertise in developing departmental and enterprise-wide technology policies and procedures, as well as experience responding to system security threats and minimizing their impact on customer departments and the broader organization.
Additional Information:
This classification has been designated At-Will by the Board of Supervisors, in accordance with Article 6, Section 601E (8) of the County Management Resolution, and serves at the pleasure of the Chief Information Officer.
This class is eligible for the Performance Recognition Plan under Article 3, Section 311(C) of the County Management Resolution. Program eligibility requires employees to be in a leadership position, manage employees or programs, and have significant influence on the achievement of organizational objectives.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, business administration, public administration, behavioral/social sciences, marketing or a closely related field.
