Location

Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective

The Business Systems Analyst is assigned to a primary Business group, however, will support all businesses within the organization. They are responsible for understanding and delivering business value through system capabilities, requirements, and success measures. They work closely with Business Owners, business units, third-party vendors, and IT teams to ensure effective project breakdown, implementation, and support. They have a strong knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs), business case development, financial analysis, business process management, and empowered to implement business solutions within software applications adhering to technology best practices. They also have the skills to troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain applications used by the credit union. The Business Systems Analyst is detail-oriented, critical-thinking, and self-motivated. They communicate well across all levels of the organization and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Essential Functions
  • Gather, understand, document, and analyze business requirements to ensure each effort has defined business value and success measures for prioritized projects from stakeholders, utilizing data-driven signals to ensure delivery of value.
  • Partner with primary business and vendors, acting as the key contact to advise on new features, design, and configuration to mature and grow business services for our membership, while also serving as the primary point of contact for business units to solve routine usability problems and efficiency opportunities.
  • Implement minor system changes related to our applications through configuration and system tuning, in accordance with IT Service Management Standards, including Change Control.
  • Understand, process, and adhere to established processes and documentation standards, while managing projects, ensuring compliance, and delivering IT services.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree OR 2+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years administering software applications
  • Experience influencing business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using hypotheses-driven problem solving.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
  • Financial institution experience in a specific business domain
  • Experience working with leadership teams to identify key opportunities to develop and enhance business strategy using quantitative and qualitative analytics
  • Experience identifying business needs and leading strategic plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights.
  • Vendor management experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Project Management experience
Work Environment

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Full Time/40 hours per week

Compensation Information:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $77,618.50 and $97,023.13, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
