Business Systems Analyst

Description:
10+ year's relevant experience in financial service industry, ideally with custodial banking or securities lending or prime brokerage.
Custodial systems experience is a must. Experience with SMAC/GSMAC will be a plus.
Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging is required.
Strong experience with investment banking, portfolio management or collateral management is required.
Strong SQL knowledge to query Oracle and SQL databases.
Strong understanding of Security classifications across Equity and Fixed Income securities.
Defines business/system requirements by facilitating user meetings and interviewing users, developing BFD's, and researching and resolving issues.
Strong experience creating functional requirements/technical specifications from business requirements
Previous work experience with vendor systems and vendor management is preferred.
Good communication skills to work collaboratively with business and senior management is required.
Participates in business analysis project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, managing issue logs and preparing project documentation.
Analyzes current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes.
Provides technical and business knowledge to clients.
Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments.
Experience with Advent Syncova platform is ideal.
Experience in working with a global team.
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in finance, economics, computer science or related field.
