The Opportunity ...

As our Field Service Supervisoryou will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

On a given day, you may:

• Shift responsibility at a single customer site, maintaining JBT's leased or sold equipment as directed by Service lead personnel and Service management.
• Complete or help complete records and reports and submit them to the service coordinator promptly.
• Order or report parts shortages and maintain or help keep an orderly stockroom.
• Assist other service technicians in installation & disassembly major mechanical changes on leased or sold machinery.
• Deliver L/M parts and equipment to customer plants as directed by service management.
• Manage equipment overhaul so that performance will be to JBT and customer standards and completed within a schedule.
• Work with internal customer (JBT departments and personnel) to assure from the customer site to JBT.
• Have knowledge of customers' machinery and processes used in fruit processing included in a service agreement.
• Maintain professional standards by observing all customer specific regulations and rules including safety and personal conduct items.
• Attend customer's meetings regarding operation of juice room and related equipment.

Requirements for the role

• Mechanical & electrical background with 2years of field experience
• Knowledge to understand drawings, blueprints, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assembly's
• 5 years minimum experience in machine assembly, light fabrication, welding, and machine tool operation.
• Knowledge of process control systems. (i.e. utility control and measurement, steam water and air).
• Food industry experience desired, aseptic systems and other sterilization equipment.
• Require a minimum amount of management and conduct both on and off the job.
• You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Travel & Location

• You will be fully onsite and we ask that you travel approximately 50% of the time.
