CAD Modeling Specialist

Radiance Technologies is searching for a talented Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeler. The CAD Modeler will construct detailed 3-dimensional geometric models and associated meshes in support of engineering analysis. CAD models will be completed in industry standard portable formats. Sources for model creation will include drawings, photos, and technical descriptions.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or technically related field.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of CAD experience
• Experience building and meshing CAD models using NX and/or Rhino
• Experience using CAD software utilizing 3D modeling and meshing capabilities
• Experience creating engineering drawings at the detail, layout, and assembly level using industry leading CAD software, and working from engineering sketches, concept drawings, and other means of communications

Required Skills:

• Ability to use CAD and associated meshing software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems
