Charitable Asset Management group is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024. We oversee $3 Billion of charitable assets for over 200 non-profit clients. We are a leading provider of asset management, administration and tax services for charitable planned giving programs. These programs provide individuals with a way to donate to a charity, receive income from that donation while they are alive, and then ultimately leave something for the charity upon their death or the death of their assigned successor beneficiary(s). This specialized group at SSGA provides all of the resources needed for a nonprofit to build a successful planned gift program. This position would provide you with a rare opportunity to join a specialized investment and administrative unit within State Street Global Advisors.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You are responsible for running a book of non-profit clients for their planned giving program
- You will handle new gifts, on-going administration, periodic reporting, terminations
- You will work closely with the tax team, investment management team and account maintenance team to satisfy all clients' needs
- You will report to clients investment committee meetings or fundraising and finance offices
- You are responsible for all clients' needs including communications directly with clients' constituents
- You will be familiar with and follow SSGA's corporate procedures on AML/KYC and other compliance requirements
- You should be able to resolve client issues independently
- You are responsible for timely, accurate gift processing, record keeping and special projects for client relationships
- You maintain pending activity logs and well organized account files detailing fees, agreements and special reporting
- You prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc client reporting
- You will be able to advise clients in in gift vehicles and trust instruments
- You build enthusiastic, positive relationships with colleagues and clients
- You will gain a keen understanding of the client's mission, core business, structure, as well as their challenges
- You will adhere to all Charitable Asset Management procedures and policies
REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree and/or advanced training.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in non-profit organizations, with a strong preference in planned giving field.
- Excellent attention to details and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Knowledge of charitable trusts, charitable gift annuities and pooled income funds is a plus
- Prior fundraising experience not required, but recommended.
- Excellent communication skills, strong social and team skills.
- Strong computer, accounting, and service skills.
- Some travel required, 20%
