This role will be responsible for managing campaigns to market Youtooz product releases. Your focus will be on improving the sales of Youtooz products both organically through social content and on paid media across ad networks. The day to day will center around speaking to licensing partners, managing marketing schedules week over week and strategizing sales lift opportunities. You will be instrumental in the new launches and evergreen marketing of Youtooz products. Each week will present a new set of challenges and opportunities to serve the fans we create products for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule content with internal team members to match up with key posting dates, such as new launches, anniversaries or evergreen campaigns
  • Write descriptive copy of Youtooz products and create website landing pages for new SKU's
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reporting for partners, such as recap reports or quarterly financial reports
  • Generate email campaigns to promote Youtooz launches and offer copy or visual adjustments to improve conversions
  • Build relationships with Youtooz partners on an ongoing basis, such as sharing ideas for new products or brainstorming around tentpole dates of focus for franchises or characters
  • Monitor paid campaigns promoting Youtooz products to cater content towards best performing assets. Use the paid performance data to make improvements to creatives and report on incremental growth from optimization efforts
  • Manage an evergreen marketing calendar and plan retention strategies for licensed IP beats, such as new content launches, DLC updates, cross-sell opportunities or anniversaries
  • Test new marketing channels, such as new ad platforms or direct-mail
  • Manage marketing campaigns with Youtooz partners including organizing launch dates and brainstorming unique sales tactics (ie. signed boxes, on-stream activations, giveaways, etc)
  • Report on marketing campaigns with partners to find areas for improvement for future collaborations


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience managing marketing programs for DTC brands
  • Experience with influencer marketing or influencer product launches
  • Familiarity with softwares such as Slack, Basecamp and Notion
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate ability to drive and deliver strategic business plans and initiatives
  • Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility
  • A love for collectible figures, toys, pop culture and the internet (memes, influencers, etc)
  • Process oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills in English

  • Experience with Northbeam or similar marketing platforms


The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 100,000 CAD per year (Canada)
