Essential Job Functions and Leadership Responsibilities:
1. Work with other sellers within Direct Supply to develop and implement strategies to uncover new LSOs and to determine areas of opportunity and focus within a territory
2. Create effective business development strategies for a specific territory
3. Manage the pipeline/sales funnel to ensure opportunities to book to consistently maintain sales expectations and budget
4. Set the sales strategy for how Direct Supply will win large sales opportunities, directing internal cross-functional teams, including Financial Services, Sourcing, Logistics, and other sellers
5. Analyze customer needs and present value-added solutions in person and via telephone to key customers.
6. Build relationships with key decision-makers in a territory, including Owners, Executives and Administrators.
7. Work closely with the Capital Operations Specialists to ensure successful project management of each LSO
8. Host customer visits on campus, and travel to attend trade shows and visit customer facilities
Skill Set
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2. 2+ years of sales experience 3. Demonstrated understanding of the sales process 4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of an organization, internally and externally 5. Demonstrated ability to turn leads into sales opportunities 6. Ability to travel up to 25% Additional Preferred Skills: 1. Understanding of long-term care and healthcare markets 2. Understanding of large sale process 3.
