Job Description:
The Carbon Black Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's endpoint security solutions based on Carbon Black products. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and optimizing endpoint security tools to protect the organization's systems and data from cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
Deploying and configuring Carbon Black solutions for endpoint protection, threat detection, and response.
Creating and managing policies for malware detection, prevention, and remediation.
Monitoring endpoint security events and alerts to identify potential security incidents.
Collaborating with the incident response team to investigate and mitigate security breaches.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to adjust endpoint security strategies.
Performing regular updates and patches to ensure the effectiveness of Carbon Black products.
Configuring and managing integration with other security tools and platforms.
Generating reports and documentation related to endpoint security activities and incidents.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Carbon Black products or similar endpoint security solutions.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Familiarity with malware analysis, threat hunting, and incident response procedures.
Ability to create and modify security policies based on the organization's needs.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret security logs and events.
Good communication skills to collaborate with security teams and communicate technical information effectively.
Relevant certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+, are a plus.
