Job Description:

Cardiothoracic Surgery PA - Lahey Hospital & Medical Center

Location: Northern Suburbs of Boston, MA

About Us:

• Join the nationally recognized Cardiothoracic Surgery Division at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (345-bed tertiary care).

Your Role:

• Provide comprehensive post-operative care (ICU, Progressive Care, Telemetry).

• Manage post-cardiac surgery patients (ventilators, inotropes, vasoactive meds).

• Manage post-thoracic surgery patients.

• Treat urgent medical conditions (arrhythmias, instability, sepsis).

• ER consultations & admissions.

• Surgical consultations.

• Pre-op patient evaluation.

• Perform procedures (chest tubes, central/arterial lines, Swan-Ganz management).

• Handle urgent outpatient calls.

• Collaborate in a high-acuity environment.

Must-Have Experience:

• 2+ years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in pre, intra, and post-op cardiothoracic patient care.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
