This posting will be used to fill 4 full-time terms positions working 75 bi-weekly. It will establish a12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

Family and Children Services branch provides comprehensive support and interventions including child protection, family support, foster care, adoption, youth services, counseling, and community outreach to ensure the safety and well-being of children, youth, and families in the community. Your role
This position is responsible for providing services to children who may or may not be in the Director's care or whose families are currently involved with Family and Children Services in the area of child protection, family services, or children in care. The services can include organizing, transporting, supervising and documenting visits or appointments, providing childcare, admission and discharge, and completing file documentation

Willingness to travel within the Territory on an occasional basis with limited notice; and, Willingness to work extended hours with limited notice or be on standby for extended periods of time with frequent evening, weekend, and statutory holiday work hours are required.

- Completion of a course work in a social sciences field of study
- Experience in the delivery of social support services in the area of child protection or family services;
