Pay Range: $109,250.00 - $177,530.00 / year

Job Description:
In this role, you will work in collaboration with physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians to provide excellent patient care for our acute care patients.

- Promotes safe pharmacy medication management services and provides front-line operational support as needed to support workflows.

- Identifies customer needs and facilitates meeting those needs utilizing continuous process improvement techniques.

- Promotes and develops the clinical activities of pharmacy staff through counseling, training and teaching.

- Maintains a broad understanding of all aspects regarding key service area and its interdependency within the department.

- Collaborates with physicians, clinicians, and other department leaders to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

- Perform ongoing evaluation and feedback of direct reports

- Provide direct patient care and staffing responsibilities as needed

- Creates and/or maintains policies and procedures specific to the practice area.

- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

- Assists the manager, pharmacy director and associate chief pharmacy officer in pharmacy service and program needs

- Provides leader on-call support

- Identifies departmental goals and develops plans to meet needs and goals

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and two (2) years of experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Pharmacist by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
