  • This is for a highly experienced, Cerner Core Analyst. Additional requirements are below:
  • Seven Years of relevant IS or Business unit experience required.
  • Candidate must have expert knowledge of Cerner Millennium Core systems including; Security, HL7 Interfaces, Charting, Command Language (CCL/Discern Explorer), and Software Services Packages (SP) processing. PowerInsight, Discern Expert (Rules), and Linux/HP-UX/AIX OS is helpful.
  • Ability to understand Cerner data models and to audit those systems as well as a strong understanding of data interchange between multiple healthcare and business applications and experience integrating applications is required.
  • Candidate should also have strong technical writing skills for the development of policies and procedures; be familiar with change control and project management.
    • Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program required. (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience working directly with clinicians is preferred.
  • Participates in on-call support rotation.
