You'll work in tandem with a peer H&S Manager based on the East Coast and report directly to the Director of Health & Safety. As a technical expert and strategic contributor, you'll help shape the culture, compliance, and continuous improvement of safety programs across offices and field sites nationwide. What You'll Do
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert in Industrial Hygiene
  • Independently develop and execute sampling plans and monitoring programs
  • Create and review Health & Safety Plans (HASPs) across diverse field environments
  • Conduct site safety audits and drive corrective actions and accountability
  • Lead and participate in internal safety committees
  • Deliver health and safety training to internal staff and external clients
  • Collaborate with project managers, regulatory agencies, legal, HR, and clients
  • Oversee third-party safety program compliance and vendor management
  • Contribute to RFPs and proposals where safety program strength is evaluated
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to policies, systems, and procedures

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Safety, Public Health, or a related field
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation (required)
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial hygiene or environmental health & safety
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance strategy
  • Ability to design and lead sampling programs-not just execute them
  • Comfortable engaging across technical, field, legal, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong communication, documentation, and follow-up skills
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour Supervisor Training preferred (company can provide if not current)

Preferred Experience
  • Field and client-facing work in environmental consulting, oil & gas, or engineering services
  • Experience managing site audits, incident response, or third-party safety programs
  • Knowledge of air, noise, and chemical exposure assessment methods
  • Previous roles as a CIH, H&S Manager, EHS Specialist, or Senior Industrial Hygienist

What You'll Get
  • Base salary of $90,000-$105,000 with flexibility for highly qualified candidates
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • 7 paid company holidays + 2 floating holidays
  • 80 hours of Sick and Safe Time
  • Standard PTO program
  • Flexible, hybrid work schedule after onboarding
  • Exposure to a collaborative, technically rigorous, and people-first company culture
