About the Role
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Wilmington Health, you will be an integral part of our anesthesia care team, providing safe, efficient, and compassionate anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and procedural cases. Key Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures in an outpatient setting
Monitor patient responses before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and comfort
Develop personalized anesthesia plans in collaboration with surgeons and medical staff
Utilize regional anesthesia techniques, including nerve blocks and epidurals as appropriate
Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with organizational policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in anesthesia care
What You Need
Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) & active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, anesthesia management, and patient safety expertise
Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
