CGP: Controller

Our client, in Ontario, CA, is seeking a Temporary-to-Hire Controller for their successful and stable construction company. Onsite role. Only local applicants will be considered. Salary $65 to $72 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month end /year end close processes, preparing and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Treasury management, cash reconciliations, and liquidity management to ensure financial health and stability of the company
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk
• Oversee daily cash positions, forecasting, and banking relationships
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
• Oversite of accounting teams' work

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study
• 2+ years in accounting managerial role and ready to take career to next level
• Accounting expertise in construction industry or similar industry sector
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Tech savvy with advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
