Change Management/DTO Consultant Location: Chantilly VA
Work Type: Full Time Job Description: GridIron IT is seeking a Change Management/DTO Consultant with an active Top Secret/SCI Eligible Clearance. The successful candidate will have experience with Agile methodologies as well as the ability to participate in release planning events, daily scrums, and other technical discussions as needed. The secondary function of this role will be for moving (replicating) data and products among networks, providing dissemination support from all NGA networks to appropriate domains, and loading data/products to networks. The DTO will work on a team that transfers NGA products, information, data, and web content for dissemination on NGA and coalition networks. This role may support all activities owned by the CM team including documentation, software management, architecture diagrams, cloud cost control methodologies and reporting, and other projects while requiring significant collaboration with other teams, program management, and customer stakeholders. PRIMARY Responsibilities:
Chairing the Change Management Board (CMB).
Making decisions for all technical changes.
Coordinating with Technical Reviewers and Mission Partners to ensure accuracy of change requests
Identifying and managing problems, risks, issues and the practicalities of normal change, standard change, and emergency change in order to meet our customers expectations and ensure Leidos reputation as an organization which delivers for its customers.
Demonstrating a professional and proactive approach in customer communications in order to build strong relationships with a wide group of key customers.
Leading by example in demonstrating a collaborative and transparent partnering approach with the customer group in support of Leidos long term goals and principles.
Effectively leading, managing and motivating the on-site and remote teams to ensure a culture of focus, delivery and professionalism within which each member understands their role, responsibilities and is enthused to deliver their best work.
Provide support to the operational and strategic management of this area of Leidos business including SME support to proposals for future work to benefit the customer. BASIC Qualifications:
4-8 years relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or 2-6 years experience with a Masters degree, or 9 years experience with an Associates degree, or 10 years experience with a High School/General Education Development diploma.
TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
Experience working in an AGILE environment
Experience in managing development and delivery of multiple overlapping Releases
Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management
Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
Track record of working effectively within a team, and support to peers toward improved processes and results
Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.
Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.
Prefered QualificationS:
Experience acquiring software and associated management of licenses
Experience establishing or significantly improving an existing CM system and process
Experience improving and auditing deployment processes
Understand CM / SE process for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life
Experience in provide AWS support to multiple systems and environments to include software and hardware baselines
Experience with Government processes and procedures including DTO, SWAP, SWIDs, and other CM taskings.
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Ability to work on-site at least 4 days a week Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $115,000-145,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
