Description:

The Channel Manager creates opportunities within the assigned Channel to grow revenue and expand market share. The position develops customer relationships, introduces programs to expand the KineticoPro portfolio of products and services, and develops new business partners that match our go-to-market strategy.

Compensation: Salary, Exempt. Bonus Eligible

Travel: 40%

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to and executes channel strategy, including utilization of direct or indirect tactics for assigned channel.
  • Increases market share by identifying or developing revenue growth opportunities that result in category or product expansion.
  • Cultivates relationships with key decision makers. Influences others internally and externally, including senior leaders.
  • Prepares sales plan and provides ongoing forecasting updates. Communicates with internal sales and business development teams about the business environment in support of the sales forecast.
  • Manages channel sales support team and budget. Recruits new employees, motivates, and engages staff, sets performance expectations, measures performance results and addresses employee relations according to Kinetico policy.
  • Identifies and pursues revenue growth opportunities; expands category/product sales, increases Kinetico's share of the market and manages margins within the channel.
  • Introduces programs and services that increase KineticoPro value to the customer base, such as preventative maintenance programs, franchisee expansion, IOT capability, and category penetration.
  • Prepares annual sales plan for the Channel and provides ongoing forecasts of actual to plan. Communicates with internal sales and business development teams about the business environment in support of the sales forecast.
  • Ensures accounts know how to transact business with Kinetico by providing them with information on the tools, processes and people dedicated to serving them.
  • Pro-actively identifies and resolves performance issues before they negatively impact the account or Kinetico's relationship. Communicates with internal Kinetico departments to collaborate on solutions, recommend and follow through on satisfactory resolution.
  • Understands and monitors the Channel's equipment landscape and confidently articulates the value that our products, services, and technologies can bring.
  • Protects and strengthens the KineticoPro brand, by representing Kinetico in all negotiations and communications in a manner that upholds The Vision and Values of Kinetico.

    What you will need to succeed:

    Education & Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in business with 5-7 of years of related work experience.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Collaboration skills and customer relationship building experience.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external customers.
    • Knowledge of water treatment with the ability to communicate application knowledge.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM tool.
    • Technical sales experience preferred.
    • Ability to travel domestically.

    • Effective implementation of the channel strategy.
    • Achievement of KPIs for new account acquisition, market share growth, and product portfolio expansion.
    • Meets or exceeds revenue and market share targets for the growth of the Channel.
    • Recruits new accounts that are a good fit for our go-to-market strategy.
    • Establishes good relationships with all stakeholders (customers and internal departments).
    • Is pro-active in identifying opportunities and bringing solutions to the table.
    • Effective management of channel team and collaboration with shared resources within the organization.
