Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $111,000.00 to $177,000.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,600.00 to $203,500.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

What's the job?

The Channel Manager will be responsible for portfolio management, channel pricing, competitive and market analysis, and help define requirements to grow new expanding channels.
- Creating and implementing sales strategies tailored to each channel partner, including sales targets, marketing initiatives, and incentive programs
- Building strong relationships with key channel partners, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products and services.
- Develop and implement strategic channel portfolio solution plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in conjunction with Sales Leadership, Product Management Leadership and CertainTeed Retail Team.
- Lead cross-functional teams through commercialization process of existing and future channel partners and products. Managing multiple channel initiatives and ensuring timely execution of plans.
- Establish pricing strategies to minimize channel conflict and outline demand plans for profitable growth and expansion of the retail channel in coordination with other channels
- Partner with marketing teams to develop best in class product positioning, selling materials and promotional items to engage retailers on new items, focusing on the contractor need and category opportunity, for both in-store, online, and special order needs.
- Conduct in-depth market research, analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring a competitive edge in the industry
- Generating reports on channel sales performance, identifying key metrics, and presenting insights to senior management. Analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop 3-year channel roadmap and innovation pipeline needs to drive sustainable growth in the retail channel

What do you bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing discipline.
- A minimum of eight plus (8+) years of Channel, Product, Sales and/or Marketing experience with a record of demonstrated achievement in sales growth and margin accretion.
- Experience in Building Products Industry understanding the specific market landscape.
- Have a strong working knowledge of the retail market segment and competitive landscape with strong understanding of the sales processes, market dynamics, and channel sales strategies.
- Solid analytical skills with strong understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.
- Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Project management, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success communicating effectively with all levels of the business.
- Experience navigating a complex organization and changing priorities and while exercising attention to detail; ability to manage deadlines and focus on high-impact work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to execute timely and above expectations.
- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite and other ERP Systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.)
