As a Chemical Solutions Manager, you'll blend technical expertise with strategic sales to identify client needs, recommend solutions, and expand our market presence. Become a trusted consultant, offering valuable insights into high-purity solvents and guiding customers through complex purchasing decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute plans to grow market share within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to achieve revenue goals.
  • Client Engagement: Understand client challenges, needs, and purchasing behaviors to drive engagement.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide insights on product applications to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact, delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Account Management: Engage with key accounts to identify expansion opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage knowledge of high-purity chemicals to assist customers in selecting the right solutions.
  • Technical Support: Address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer product recommendations.
  • Client Education: Conduct training, workshops, and webinars on high-purity solvents.
  • Market Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Refinement: Use market insights to refine strategies and positioning.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with R&D, Quality, and Marketing teams to align product offerings with customer expectations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Product Innovation: Share insights from customer interactions and market research to contribute to innovation.
  • Proposal and Presentation Preparation: Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiations to secure favorable agreements and manage the sales pipeline efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in consumer insights or technical sales within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or chemical manufacturing industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-purity chemicals and their applications in regulated industries.
  • Sales Strategy: Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
