Integrated Polymer Solutions - RMB Products is seeking a Chemical Value Stream Manager who is responsible for directing and managing all activities for the chemical department operations. The VS manager is responsible for the application of lean manufacturing principles: improving efficiencies, establishing, and meeting KPI targets and continuous improvement activities. The employee will work in a manufacturing environment; this position does not allow for remote work.

Job Accountabilities:
- Manage and direct the efforts of subordinates in their daily activity through work assignments to meet production schedules
- Provide guidance, instruction, and training for the employee to produce a quality product in a safe environment meeting customer demands and specifications
- Establish and sustain standard work for the value stream with oversight of scheduling and/or production scheduling
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Sales Departments for value stream products
- Identify and reduce waste in the value stream by driving a culture of continuous improvement
- Coach employees for success and when appropriate assess corrective actions
- Manage all value stream related costs per the annual operating budget established for the value stream
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports for KPIs, CI activities to senior leadership through operational metrics using statistics and data analysis
- Mandatory daily production meeting

- Supervise, coordinate, and actively assist the daily activities of a unit/sub-unit of two or more people
- Must maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and RMB
- Communicate effectively with employees for daily assignments, and yearly reviews
- Direct Chemical team members to achieve daily production objectives with a quality product that meets industry standards and customers' requirements
Job Specifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Years' Experience: 5-7 years' experience plus experience in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient computer skills to include MS Office, Advanced Excel, and experience with Visual Manufacturing software a plus
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Strong knowledge/ experience within area of Aerospace and Laser Sintering manufacturing
- Knowledge of Work order processes and reading blueprints
- Requires compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and Company work rules as well as written instructions

- Certified to operate a fork-lift and overhead crane
- Lifting no more than 50 pounds alone and assisting in team lifts of more than 50 pounds
