Crossroads Health is currently looking for a experienced Chief Clinical Officer (CCO). The CCO is responsible for providing vision, guiding change, and ensuring the Trauma-Informed, effective and efficient delivery of services by leading clinical programs in prevention and treatment services directly to a diverse population of clients, and indirectly through other stakeholder systems. This highly visible role is a member of our Senior Leadership Team.

The Chief Clinical Officer will provide a high level of clinical leadership and expertise to ensure effectiveness of treatment programs and outcomes. They will also establish a trauma informed clinical standard of care for behavioral health programming and provide change leadership. In addition they will be responsible for:
  • Identifying and understanding the needs and priorities of the community being served and identifies, initiates and monitors implementation of new and existing best practices to meet those needs.
  • Keeps current regarding clinical programming best practices, research, trends and developments in treatment of behavioral health disorders.
  • Supports performance improvement, program evaluation, utilization management and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Participates in the annual budget process and maintains budgetary/fiscal oversight of clinical programming. Utilizes trend research to forecast and budget future financial needs based on findings.
  • Serves as liaison to national, regional, local and statewide initiatives, other agencies, universities and businesses/industries for development of partnerships, linkages and advocacy.
  • Interfaces with Board of Directors, providing recommendations and execution of strategic initiatives. Involvement in the Integrated Health Committee of the Board of Directors. Sets clinical strategic direction and guides Directors in their subsequent service lines. Executes clinical portions of the strategic plan.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree in accredited professional clinical program: Clinical Counseling, Clinical Social Work or Psychology.
  • Valid State of Ohio Independent License with Supervisory Designation LPCC-S, LISW-S, LICDC-CS or PsyD.
  • Minimum of 10 years in an administrative leadership position in a clinical setting or human service field.
  • Federally Qualified Health Center experience is required.
  • Demonstrated success managing fee for service contracts and implementing evidence-based practice models of care.
  • Prior clinical leadership experience serving a variety of different populations in a behavioral health setting.
