Position Overview
We are seeking a Chief Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating drywall project costs, ensuring that all materials and labor are accounted for. This role is essential for the successful bidding and execution of commercial drywall projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for drywall projects based on project plans and specifications.
• Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to ensure accurate estimations.
• Utilize On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid software for efficient estimating processes.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing information and clarify project requirements.
• Review and analyze bid documents and contracts to understand project scope and requirements.
• Provide support during the bidding process and assist in the submission of proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project files for future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a senior-level Drywall Estimator in a commercial setting.
• Strong understanding of drywall systems and materials.
• Proficient in estimating software, particularly On Screen Takeoff and QuickBid.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
