The Role:
As the CEO of Champions for Children, you will be the driving force behind the organization's mission, serving as both the visionary leader and chief development executive. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee all organizational operations, including strategic planning, fiscal management, fundraising, marketing, human resources, and programmatic excellence. You will lead efforts to secure critical funding through major donor relations, corporate partnerships, and community engagement, ensuring Champions for Children thrives financially and operationally to deliver transformative impact

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic vision in collaboration with the Board.
- Oversee financial health, operational efficiency, and programmatic growth.
- Drive comprehensive fundraising strategies, including capital campaigns, donor cultivation, and corporate partnerships.
- Represent Champions for Children as a prominent advocate within the Tampa Bay philanthropic community.
- Inspire and mentor staff, fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field;
- Extensive professional experience, with 5+ years in senior nonprofit leadership;
- Proven success in fundraising, including major gifts and capital campaigns;
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets;
- Deep understanding of the Tampa Bay philanthropic landscape and strong community connections;
- CFRE certification or equivalent experience preferred; and/or
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Salary Range Depending on Qualifications: $165,000-$185,000
