Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. This individual will oversee all financial activities, ensuring stability and scalability while aligning with our company's ambitious growth goals. The CFO will play a critical role in financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Reporting directly to the COO and CEO, this position requires a proactive and adaptable leader who can drive financial excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business goals and drive long-term success.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure strong fiscal health.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.

Financial Management & Operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Strengthen internal controls and enforce financial policies to safeguard company assets.
  • Optimize capital structure, manage cash flow, and oversee debt/equity financing strategies.
  • Supervise key financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Risk Management & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
  • Oversee financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks to protect company interests.
  • Manage business insurance policies and ensure adequate coverage.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial initiatives with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations
  • Present financial insights and growth strategies to investors, board members, and stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions.
  • Support fundraising, M&A activities, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of three years of experience in senior financial leadership roles.
  • Expertise in financial regulations, GAAP, and financial modeling.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and financial software (NetSuite preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and communicate effectively across teams.
