Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Greenwich, CT

Chief Financial Officer Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee all financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's overall strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting processes, providing accurate and timely financial reports, analysis, and insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and auditors, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and financial expertise to the executive team and board of directors, contributing to the development and execution of business plans and growth initiatives.
  • Drive cost management initiatives, identify areas for operational efficiency, and implement appropriate measures to enhance profitability.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies, and ensure comprehensive internal controls are in place.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA prefer
  • Experience working in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and systems.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of financial management and growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
