This role will provide strategic financial leadership for Arcadia, its operations and processes, and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Arcadia's financial strategy in line with the overarching DMC Global strategy. It will ensure that the company's financial infrastructure is secure, compliant, and supports the organization's goals, including its long-term portfolio strategy.
This critical position provides financial leadership, support, and insights to develop and deploy market strategies and operational decisions to drive business performance, efficient operations, and market growth. The role serves as the key business partner to Arcadia executive leadership and the broader DMC Global executive leadership team. Takes a forward-looking view supported by high emotional intelligence to articulate options and influence decisions in key areas. Leverages shared service centers of expertise within finance and other functions to enable leaders to achieve performance targets. Develops staff to create leadership and skill sets necessary to take on roles of increased accountability. The position requires a high level of relationship-building skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with senior executives, strategic business partners, coworkers, and others.
This position reports directly to the President of Arcadia Products, based in Vernon, California.

Specific Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making processes.
- Assess and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- FP&A Leadership:
- Lead the FP&A team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and variances.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial outcomes.
- Accounting Oversight:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting processes.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and audits.
- Multi-Site Sales and Operations:
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to align financial goals with business strategies.
- Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency.

Key Selection Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is required. MBA or MS in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Ten or more years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
- Experience in a leadership role overseeing P&L of an independently operating business unit or division.
- Demonstrated experience in providing highly strategic and innovative financial leadership in a manufacturing organization.
- Ability to develop strong relationships; challenge, negotiate and influence key senior executives.
- Ability to mentor and grow staff and direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to connect financial models to strategic initiatives and present this information clearly and effectively to executive leadership.
- Ability to effectively manage working relationships through strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
