Job Summary/Objective:

Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to execute WHIN's strategic vision by supporting ecosystem development, driving program design and execution, managing the incubator, and supporting work for a potential future investment arm. This role will provide leadership and operational support to ensure WHIN's mission is effectively realized.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Growth & Ecosystem Development
  • Collaborate on Growth Strategy: Work with the Executive Director to develop and execute strategies that expand WHIN's network and impact.
  • Foster Key Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), MedTech companies, academic institutions, and healthcare providers to enhance WHIN's ecosystem.
  • Amplify WHIN's Visibility: Represent WHIN at conferences and events, advocating for its mission and amplifying its reach.
  • Secure Resources: Support efforts to attract sponsors, grants, and partners to sustain and grow WHIN's initiatives.
  • Marketing: Along with Executive Director, oversight of the design and implementation of an integrated marketing and communications plans provided by marketing agency, including program marketing, outreach and media strategy.
  • Program Design & Execution
  • Deliver Impactful Programs: Partner with the Executive Director to design and manage impactful Training & Education programs (including Huddles, 12 week startup programs, pitch competitions, and workshops tailored to women's health innovators).
  • Measure Success: Establish and track program metrics to ensure alignment with WHIN's mission and goals.
  • Incubator Strategy & Team Collaboration
  • Incubator Growth: Collaborate with the Executive Director to define and refine strategies for attracting high-potential startups to the incubator, refining program offerings and enhancing the overall experience.
  • Support Startup Success: Ensure the incubator provides a dynamic and resourceful environment for startups to thrive, reinforcing WHIN's reputation as a hub for innovation in women's health.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Supervise day-to-day incubator operations and track KPIs.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with the Executive Director to identify additional team needs (e.g., program coordinator or marketing support) and ensure resources are allocated effectively.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines.
  • Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone.
