Lakeview's CNO will assume accountability for the management of nursing services. The CNO directs and supervises professional and paraprofessional level employees by coaching, teaching and providing leadership.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of activities that directly affect the nursing department and overall patient care, to include developing education and competencies required by staff.
  • Assist in maintaining the department policies and procedures in accordance with clinical standards and State and Federal Regulations. Other regulatory compliance will include review/investigation of incident reports, review/evaluation of medication errors and participation in p&p development and all survey processes.
  • Direct oversight of shift team, including communication, coaching, performance management, and issuance of corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Wisconsin RN license
  • At minimum, BSN from an accredited school of nursing; Master's HIGHLY preferred
  • At least 5-10 years of supervisory / management experience in a healthcare setting
