MNA Delivers leadership, support, and guidance to healthcare facilities of all sizes across multiple specialists with the primary goal of providing accessibility, value, and quality medical administrative support services.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What You'll Do:

Directs, administers, and coordinates the activities of the organization in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and the Board by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

  • Directs the preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals and growth objectives.
  • Oversees executives who direct department activities that implement the organization's policies.
  • Creates the structure and processes necessary to manage the organization's current activities and its projected growth.
  • Maintains a sound plan of corporate organization, establishing policies to ensure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession.
  • Develops and installs procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
  • Establishes operating policies consistent with the chief executive officer's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution.
  • Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
  • Ensures that all organization activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
  • Attends board meetings, including evening sessions as required.
  • Lead and facilitate regular operations meetings to ensure alignment across departments.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to clinics to ensure standards of care, service, and compliance are maintained.
  • Maintain flexibility for addressing urgent operational concerns outside typical business hours.

What You Need For This Job:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field required. Extensive leadership experience (typically 10+ years) in operations, strategic planning, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Must reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Database software, internet software, and word processing software.
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands or feel, talk, and hear. Ability to occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardization situations.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
