Summary

This position is to lead, facilitate, and assist others in the creation of the desired organizational culture with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all areas and a passion for success that provides an improved and sustainable competitive advantage. The incumbent will provide leadership and management oversight of all aspects of sales and operations, directing activities so that performance goals, quality expectations, and cost objectives are met or exceeded. The individual will serve to provide both strategic and tactical direction to the Company and execute such strategy aligned with owernship's vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - In General:
  • Provide leadership and management to ensure that the vision, mission, and core values of the Company are achieved by leveraging a servant leadership approach.
  • Responsible for the revenue growth, location growth and overall financial health of the Company.
  • Collaborate to minimize all facets of legal liabilities and support risk management programs with regards to all people resources, property, inventory, etc.
  • Identify, recommend and implement changes for continuous improvement to increase efficiency, improve customer service, drive up profitability, and overall Company performance.
  • Evaluate escalated customer complaints and quality issues; including collaborative research as to the cause, communication to customer(s) as appropriate, the initiation of corrective actions to resolve the incident in the best interest of the Company and to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Analyze and evaluate the Company's fiscal performance; recommend, plan, develop, and execute strategies to improve that performance and implement cost effective systems of control over all expenditures.
  • Engage in high-level negotiations to generate lucrative contracts and/or build beneficial relationships with other third-parties instrumental in the Company's success.
  • Serve as a key Company representative at conferences, meetings, trade shows, public events, and/or at regional or national Company meetings as an expert on operational matters.


  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operation Specific:
  • Develop short- and long-term plans/goals. Establish processes and procedures to achieve those targets in a way that pursues operational excellence, ensuring all Company services conform to established expectations and exceed customer service standards.
  • Evaluate the operations impact and lead in the execution of short- and long-range initiatives, including specifically expansion into new markets and the introduction of new services.
  • Collaborate in the formulation and execution of operational and corporate policies, processes, procedures, and programs that will improve the competitive position, profitability, overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Company.
  • Acquire, develop, and maintain a superior operations exempt/non-exempt workforce, structure, and culture to accomplish stated goals and objectives; develop and achieve optimum employee levels with the least amount of overhead while ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Establish and maintain a system of operational metrics and communications that keeps the leadership team timely informed as to the state of business operations and progress toward established goals.


  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Sales Specific:
  • Design and implement a scalable sales and marketing strategy that can grow with the business, increase revenue in current locations, and expand into new markets. Determine and execute sales plans to meet organizational needs and grow the business.
  • Create and maintain a sales process that will streamline the daily responsibilities of every member of the team. Be the ultimate champion for their team's sales process, ensuring the process is followed and striving for continuous improvement that drives results for the business.
  • Recruit, manage and motivate the sales team to create a culture that encourages the sales reps to hit or exceed their goals. Help the sales reps develop their skills and improve performance; facilitate regular reviews, feedback, and coaching; advise and assist them as needed to close business deals.
  • Create, track, analyze, and present sales metrics; create sales reports and provide feedback; Leverage sales metrics to make data-driven decisions, provide effective coaching to the team, to create accurate sales forecasts, and to set sales goals that drive business growth.
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships; review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs, and improve customer satisfaction; grow and facilitate current client relationships and work to establish new ones in both existing and new markets.

  • Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Management or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Sales / Operations Management with P&L responsibility.
  • Solid understanding of finance analysis, reporting, budgets, etc.
  • Proven leadership capability (change agent, motivation, influence, decision-making, culture).
  • Experience partnering with Executive Team members.
  • Knowledge of best practices and experience accomplishing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking, analysis, problem solving, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Superior communication capabilities in all formats and on all levels.


  • Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Management or related field
  • 15 plus years of Management within the same or related industry.
  • Prior experience as a VP of Sales / Operations or Chief Operations Officer or CEO.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry and contract labor provider.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, presentation equipment, etc. The work environment also includes a recurrent amount of time in all our facilities. Days and hours of in-office work are normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Frequent night and weekend work is required. The role also requires phone accessibility 24/7 and emergency situations would dictate that the incumbent is available to respond at all times. This position requires up to 35% travel, including air travel, overnight stays, and the use of a vehicle.
