Overview of the Shandy Clinic
The Shandy Clinic provides multidisciplinary pediatric therapy with a mission to serve children and families, and to help every child reach his or her full potential. We provide speech, occupational, and physical therapy, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to clients. We currently have approximately 300 people on our team and operate in 11 clinics throughout Colorado. We are growing rapidly so that we can continue to serve additional children and communities that need our services.
About the Role
We are looking for a controller who will manage all aspects of our finance department while leading and supporting Shandy's culture and values as we scale our company. We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on individual that has the ability to work independently, providing advanced technical accounting expertise in support of our revenue drivers and initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for all key accounting and finance functions including performing monthly and quarterly close activities, production of forecasts and reports for both internal and external stakeholder use, developing and monitoring KPIs, and preparing required financial analysis and models.
Reporting Structure: The Corporate Controller reports directly to the President.
Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000/year

Position Requirements
The Patient Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, scheduling, answering phones, and performing administrative responsibilities by performing the following duties:

- Responsible for maintaining the schedule. Including scheduling follow-up appointments, reoccurring appointments to authorization, scheduling re-evaluations as necessary, building out available time slots and admin times.
- Greet families as they arrive. Collect any intake paperwork or copay's as necessary.
- Answer phone for clinic in a professional manner. Cancel and reschedule appointments, transfer calls, answer general questions, check voicemail and respond in a timely manner.
- Make calls to patients. Call for therapist out of office, therapist change, clinic closed, or to fill appointments as available.
- Track authorizations and schedules accordingly. Notifies parents of expiring authorization and give supporting documents on steps to renew authorization.
- Maintains waiting room area. Keeps tidy and sanitizes as needed. Maintains client comfort, including noise level, activity level, and cleanliness.
- Updates any patient changes in chart. Notifies appropriate departments of changes (Billing/Authorizations)
- Maintains wait list. Keeps updated wait list and calls as openings/filler appointments become available.
- Tracks patient attendance issues. Works with clinic manager to resolve attendance issues.
- Files patient and therapist documents. Scans and inputs child documents into their chart attachments.
- Converses openly with therapist about schedule and makes adjustments accordingly.
- Responds to company messenger and e-mails in a timely manner
- Gives parents information or directs them to appropriate place for programs including HBOT, Brain First, Handwriting without Tears, and Feeding Group.
- Ensures patient confidentiality at all times.
- Advocates for the patient at all times. Keep the patient in mind at all times. Treats all families fairly and ethically when scheduling and interacting.
