Canary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in instrumentation and
monitoring of structures to help manage operational and safety risks. We operate in several markets including
construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.
We are seeking an energetic and talented Chief Revenue Officer to work out of our headquarters in New
London, NH to help in our business initiatives in cooperation with other company leadership. Candidates will
require a technology related sales & solution background and the ability to break down, present and market
complex software, electronics and engineering products and services in easy-to-understand ways. This
position will report to the CEO.!
Responsibilities Include:
Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets, and develop relationships
with them to secure new business
Create and maintain a customer database
Reporting on group sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting
Achieve sales targets, at expected profit margins, by converting leads into sales
Working with Marketing and Sales to organize collateral including data sheets, brochures, and
marketing merchandise
Conducting client demonstrations and presentations of our products and services, both remote and in
person
Organizing, writing, and reviewing Proposals, Quotes and Submittals
Working with other Group Managers on client retention and key account initiatives
Conducting internal sales training programs
Expertise Desired:
Background/experience in solution sales, preferably within the mining or civil engineering industries
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expected profit margins
Excellent communication and sales presentation skills and techniques, and competent in using
presentation tools such as PowerPoint.
Electronic product and/or software sales Experience
Management experience
Relevant Degree or Postgraduate qualifications
