About the Role:

The Chief Talent Officer (CTO) is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy to align with Shields Health's overall business objectives. This role oversees talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement and culture development, employee credentialing, organizational and performance management, training and development, benefits and compensation. The CTO serves on the senior leadership team, playing a crucial role in driving organizational success

Responsibilities:
Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives.
Create comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the strategic human capital needs of strategic goals.
Design and implement comprehensive talent management plans, including career development, succession planning and workforce training programs.
Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or support group regarding key organizational and management issues.
Nurture a positive working environment, striving for high employee engagement and job satisfaction.
Maintain a fair and equitable workplace by ensuring compliance with federal and state legislation and monitoring adherence to internal policies.
Monitor HR metrics and use data for strategic decision-making.
Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective.
Lead the continued development of the DEI strategy to align with Shields company culture and values.
Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team.

A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of HR experience.
SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
